For civil service examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected soon. No official date has been announced by the examination authorities so far though. Results will be declared on to http://www.upsc.gov.in
Civil service preliminary examination consists of two papers of 200 marks. This paper consists of objective type multiple choice questions, which are expected to be completed within two hours of study Am I: paper, paper II: General Aptitude. The negative sign is used in the test.
Lakh candidates appeared in the examination of more than 4.5. A total of 9, 44, 926 candidates had applied for the examination but only 6,80,455 downloaded admit card. Of nearly seven lakh 4.5 lakh candidates came to tests conducted at 2,137 centers in 59 cities In 2013, the beginning of UPSC civil service saw 3,24,101 candidates.
Final merit for candidates who are eligible for public services (main) examination will be issued written using the total marks obtained in the paper-I of 200 marks and the marks obtained in paper-II of 200 marks less maximum marks allocated for questions English language comprehension skills (ie the questions in paper II for the Indian translation is not given).
