Union Public Service Commission is all set to conduct competitive examination combined Department of shorthand (Grade-B / Grade-I) 2014 on December 29, 2014. The e-Admit Cards are available in the website to download.
Candidates registered for shorthand test admit cards can be downloaded using the link provided on the UPSC website along with other information. The e-certificate admission has led to the examination room at all sessions.
Shorthand test will be held in central Delhi only to be carried out in two separate slots for English and Hindi shorthand shorthand. Candidates should inform the center at 8.30 am to 13.30 pm and shorthand English to Hindi shorthand test.
Written test details:
Applicants must transcribe his shorthand notes assigned to your computer. The dictation is provided through recorded sound played over loudspeakers.
Test Shorthand (English / Hindi medium in '100' words per minute)
Dictation - 10 minutes
Review of 10-minute dictation
Transcription (Catalan) -40 minutes
Transcription (Hindi) - 55 minutes
UPSC provide 'familiarization mock-drill' before the real test candidates during which technical assistance will also be provided.
