Scholarships postgraduate course was founded in 2011 and is managed by the Faculty and Molecular Biosicences, Faculty of Science, University of Queensland - Australia. The scholarship aims to encourage and reward students graduate academic programs administered by Indian School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences. The scholarship is intended for students and start again is not available for students who have already begun studies at the University of Queensland.
The grant covers 50% of the tuition program for the minimum number of units required to complete the program for which the scholarship is awarded unless otherwise stated.
The grant is provided by
Master Program in Bioinformatics (unit 16 and unit 24)
Master Program of Advanced Bioinformatics
Master of Biotechnology Program (unit 16 or 24 unit)
Master Program of advanced biotechnology
Master Program in Molecular Biology (unit 16 and unit 24)
Master Program of Advanced Molecular Biology
Value of scholarship
Approximately AUD $ 16.080 per year, based on an indicative annual fee of AUD $ 32.160. Indicative annual fees are calculated on the basis of two full-time semesters only. Annual fee real students vary their career options and electives and whether they study in summer semester. The University reviews fees annually.
The Senate may grant up to two scholarships each year on the recommendation of any school, school of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences.
The maximum tenure of the scholarship is the standard full-time duration of the program unless otherwise manifest.
The scholarship covers the other costs associated with the UQ study such as:
-Costa Of compulsory overseas student health cover (OSHC).
-The Registration University of Queensland
-Matrícula To repeat failed courses
To be eligible for the scholarships postgraduate course, the applicant
Has submitted an application in front of the school, the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences, as the closing date for applications
Must be a citizen of India
Has achieved a GPA (or overseas equivalent) of 80% over 7 semesters of undergraduate or 75% more than 8 semesters of undergraduate studies at an institution of higher education in India
Must be able to start as a student abroad in Australia student visa
Conditions for grant
The recipient can hold the scholarship for the minimum time for completion of the corresponding program, as destinatari-
continuing to be enrolled full-time in the program concerned, unless otherwise exempted by the head of school
achieving a GPA of at least 4 per semester of study in which the recipient has a grant
continuing study after an interruption approved up to 1 year, as approved by the school head
be eligible to continue retaining a student visa.
If the recipient does not meet the above rule, the student must show cause in front of the school to which the grant should not be canceled. The recipient may be required by the head of the school to pay full tuition for any course that is repeated. At minimum completion time means the minimum time it would take a student to complete the rest of the program in which the recipient is registered when the recipient is awarded the grant.
Students are required to pay for their own medical insurance scheme through overseas student health cover (OSHC). Overseas student health cover (OSHC) is a mandatory requirement for a student visa. The University has appointed Worldcare Assist as the preferred supplier for OSHC.

For the selection process, the head of the school must establish a selection committee, composed of at least three directors of postgraduate course administered by the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences. The head of the school will appoint a president appointed by the Selection Committee.

the future of any other matter that the Selection Committee deems the applicant
successful professional in the relevant field of study postgraduate courses.
