For UNISA students who are wondering how their exams are marked and whether you need to appeal against the notice provided by the University to you.
The article (by the UNISA website) would be of help for you to understand where you stand and the processes involved;
All examination scripts are marked by at least two independent examiners and in some cases an external examiner is also necessary in order to mark scripts.
The note of the examination answer books
Procedures for noticing the examination scripts are sent to students along with the examination results.
Only students who obtain 35%-49% or 68%-74% in a study-unit may apply for pointing out such a study-unit.
Applications for the note must be accompanied by the prescribed fee.
