UGC announces fellowship for non-NET students

Applications are invited by Delhi University recently for UGC Non-Community scheme. The color scheme applies to students pursuing M.Phil and Ph.D, who receives no financial assistance from anywhere and is also registered with the University in various departments.

Community Details:

Fellows get Rs. 8000 PM consolidated + Rs 10,000 per annum emergency.
The price and the extension shall be subject to the actual release of funds from the UGC.
The University has the right to cancel the amount of community and recover the amount paid if the candidate does not fulfill the conditions mentioned and is not valid for payment.
M. Phil. students is the maximum number of scholarships given 25 + 1 PWD (permissible maximum including English Institute). The assigned non-NET community Rs 5000 per month with the readiness of Rs 10,000 per year for science students and Rs 8,000 per year for the humanities and social sciences students.
Registered Ph. D students entitled to Rs 8,000 per month as fellowship and contingency of Rs 10,000 for social students and Rs 8,000 for humanities and social science students.
Graduate from the General and OBC categories should have a good academic record with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate M.Sc. topic and those from SC / ST categories; should have 50 percent marks in aggregate M.Sc.
How to apply:

Researchers must submit their applications to award "scholarships cell, recommended by the DRC and forwards the concerned department within six months of registration in the program.
The maximum time continue availing community gets four years for doctoral and 18 months after completion of M.Phil or viva voce or dissertation is earlier.
Communities canceled if the candidate does not qualify semester exam.
Maximum Leave granted for scholars going 30 days in a year except holidays (making them eligible to take vacation).

Complete application form along with necessary certificates and copies of b. M.Sc SC and mark sheets and certificates may be submitted at the office of the Head, Department of Botany, Delhi University, Delhi-110007. The last date to apply for scholarships is Saturday, September 13, 2014.
