The Central Board of secondary education CBSE, received a total of 14, 575 applications for admission in IIT this year. The application of these 1000 entries from girls were selected under project UDAAN. These girls were also provided with online learning material to prepare for the entrance exam of IIT.
CBSE has launched this project UDAAN to provide free online resources for female students of Class XI and class XII for the entrance test for the premier engineering colleges in the country.
Project UDAAN was hit by CBSE in order to increase the number of pupils receiving recognition in the light. The project 1000 girls will be selected who will receive free coaching for their engineering entrance examinations.
Teaching material is provided to these students ready with help and input from IIT Delhi, CBSE schools and students as well as teachers from BITS Pilani.
On the occasion of selecting these students our HRD Minister Smriti Irani was the subject of the present along with the Chairman, CBSE Blames Joshi and Director of many schools.
