Shaheed Rajguru College of applied sciences for women is a constituent College of Delhi University, is fully funded by Govt. NCT of Delhi. We live in the twenty-four year old educational institute offers professional courses in electronics, food technology, instrumentation, computer science and biomedicine. These courses provide a platform where students are equipped with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge threatens challenging position worldwide. The College currently has more than 700 students come from different parts of the country.
College, spread over an area of 9 hectares of land, has a very good infrastructure and modern laboratories. The college has an extensive library of RFID enabled equipped with the latest software to speed up all the work associated with the maintenance of the library. The library also provides access to more than 3000 e magazines. The college also feels proud to have provided the room is well-equipped hostel is about 100 girls.
The main aim of the college is the gap existing between the academic and industrial requirements by disseminating knowledge. We believe in the holistic development of students and seek to bring about social and cultural values in the society. The college has a variety of clubs / societies drama society, a society dance band chorus, fashion society, eco club, robotics club, and much more. Students have the opportunity to explore their ability to multi-dimensional, as part of these societies in addition to academics.
In addition to the degree courses of Delhi University, the College also has an IGNOU center for PSU and MSU and CICTAL (certificate in information and communication technologies). Our college is the only center in the region for M.Lib Regional Centre II.
In cooperation with CISCO in college conducted Networking Academy Program Cisco (SNAP) since September 2002. More than 300 students have graduated from the Academy yet. Many students were recruited from companies such as CISCO, HCL, Hughes, Infosys etc.
The college also runs programs for the Center for Entrepreneurship and career-oriented programs (CECOP) to conduct short-term courses, which give appropriate skills for graduates and students.
