The technical colleges Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (AP) to conduct the second round of the Ministry of engineering, agriculture and medical common entrance test 2014 (EANCET 2014) before the Supreme Court (SC). EAMCET is an entrance exam conducted for accessing various engineering and medical colleges. EAMCET 2014 was held on May 22, 2014 and the results were declared on Monday, June 9, 2014.
Consultations were delayed based on Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTU) had recognized 174 schools Telangana and Andhra, which do not match the standards set by the Council of India even for technical education (AICTE) and JNTU. SC has granted a conditional license for the second round of the Ministry after the request submitted by the schools derecognised from JNTU. Schools advised to inform students granted admission only on an ad hoc basis and last admission is based on the final results of AICTE inspection conducted at prestigious universities. Students also are told to put their fees in a special University of inspections and reviews were higher, so that the fee is refundable if cancellation of recognition. Fully 12,000 seats and 60,000 engineering seats in Telangana in Andhra Pradesh was vacated.
