Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has scrapped Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) Recognition of engineering colleges in the state.
The state government has formed a centralized admission committee (CAC), which consists of experts in the field of technology training to monitor admissions 2015-16 session.
In the new system, 50 per cent of the country of the engineering colleges are met through a common entrance examination (JEE) the promotion committees. The rest must be submitted on the basis of class XII promotion committees Technical Education Minister Merja Saraf said.
