Punjab Board 10th/12th Results 2014 by PSEB

Punjab School Education Council came into existence through a legislative act in November 1969 to encourage the development of school education in Punjab. The scope of functions of the Council is very broad and covers various aspects of schooling. There are various functions, structure and activities of the Council. Some of them are to take the necessary measures for the smooth conduct of public examination at school level. Currently, the Commission is responsible for conducting examinations in the middle, matriculation and secondary level. Another important function is to prescribe the curriculum, courses in India, and text books for school education. The Council consists of even full - full academic wing, the presence of the subject experts in all core subjects. The main objective of the Council is the preparation and revision of the curriculum, as well as properly prepare the text of the book. Adding on, the Board also makes the necessary arrangements for the compilation, improvement, publication and printing text books, which are provided for students. Over the years, efforts have been on the Council to achieve a qualitative improvement in the school system.

Class 10 and 12 plays an important role in the lives of students. This is because immediately after the exam grade 10 students are offered a variety of options and different streams. Such as trade, science and art are three broad options that are offered to students. All these streams offer great opportunities for students. For example, students opt for science stream can go for engineering courses, or a bachelor's degree in subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Students picking up flow of trade can go to an accountant or other trade-related courses.
