Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chetpet, Chennai, represented by G Hari and Pranav Pranav Kamesh, came the national winners of the Texas Instruments Science & Technology Competition 2015 held today in Bangalore. The team overcame stiff competition from the other finalists (one each of the four regional teams-Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore) to lift the coveted trophy ls presented by Santhosh Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Texas Instruments of India.
DPS Noida (Delhi) and Heritage School (Calcutta) finished second and third respectively in the national final. The event attracted an enthusiastic response from schools in Bangalore and other regions flocked to the site and enthusiastically acclaimed the winners and finalists. Members of the team that won the national final, were awarded as attractive Macbook Air notebooks and calculators u while the school was awarded a trofeu.Abans in the day, Krishna Menon and Aditya Girish D, the National Public School won the regional rounds to Bangalore.
