JSIA Haryana announces MA in Diplomacy Law and Business 2014

JGU announces admission to Master in Business Law and Diplomacy (DLB) for 2014-15. It has five schools: Jindal School of International Affairs; Jindal Global Law School; Jindal Global Business School; Jindal School of Government and Public Policy; Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities JSIA is the first global policy school in India. JSIA offers 2 years Master in Diplomacy, Law and Business - MA (DLB)

The Master (DLB) has been designed as the first interdisciplinary social science degree from India prepares students for international careers and advanced learning in world affairs. JSIA is now open for admission to the MA program (DLB) for the year 2014-15 (Classes start from August 2014)


The degree of Master (DLB) requires completion of 12 courses (36 credits) in 4 semesters in 3 thematic areas of specialization, namely international relations, international business and international law. A credit is calculated as equivalent to one hour of classroom instruction per week per semester. All courses are worth 3 credits each, which means that a student MA (DLB) may take up to 4 full courses to earn 12 credits per semester. These 12 will be divided into 7 core courses the first two semesters are compulsory for all students more course work, students must meet the Master thesis requirement, a requirement for guided practice and a foreign language requirement

Candidates for the M.A. (DLB) to JSIA should have a degree (BA, BA, B.Com., AE, graduated in technology., BBA, LL.B., MBBS, etc.) from any recognized University. This course is open to students from all disciplines: there are no pre-requisites regarding courses taken at the undergraduate level. There is a maximum age for applicants to Master's program (DLB)

Details of rates
Mode week - program fees: Rs. 3 lakhs per annum (unchanged in 2nd year); Fee for food, lodging and laundry: Rs. 1.5 lakhs per annum (subject to change in the second half)

Total: Rs.4.5 lakhs per annum
Mode-Rs weekend. 3 lakhs in the first year and Rs. 1 lakh in the second year

Admission procedure
All candidates must fill in the Admissions MA (DLB) and pay an application fee. Both can be done via the web to JSIA after this, entrance exam will be held on a rolling basis from January 2014 examination is done online tests the ability of students to critical and analytical thinking and general knowledge of international affairs. Early applicants will receive priority in receiving grants. This review will be to analyze the qualitative and the following skills:

i) general knowledge about the world

II) analysis skills and problem solving pressing international issues for the MA results (DLB) entrance test will be declared within two days after the end of the exam.
