JagranJosh Facebook-style networking platform, for the purpose of the exam
(By Riddhi and Vikas SN Mukherjee)
Jagran Prakashan education website JagranJosh.com recently launched a networking platform for students and interested exam my name is Josh.
The company said the platform will allow students to interact and exchange information and resources with other students and get answers to their queries on various subjects. What is noteworthy here is the company's focus around the development of a variety of competitive examinations, rather than discipline or research community.
At the time of writing this article, the platform also provides eight options for students-current events, Bank exams, MBA entrance exams, exam SSC, building services engineer exam, college entrance examination engineering, IAS/PCS test, and Science Olympiad. People can provide, such as name and email address required credentials or register an account with their Facebook account login. Users can add one or more groups.
Inspired by Facebook?
From the appearance point of view, I am Josh seems to be largely inspired by Facebook. It provides a similar Facebook Wall, where they can post their own questions, information or discussion topics, and they intend to publish the all users group.
The Group may have some similar feels and functions seen in the Facebook group (early version of Facebook groups). Users can browse through the group updates and replies, like and publish back to your personal information. Strange thing is, the site's color scheme somewhat similar to Facebook.
Here the only new addition is the Josh and Jagranjosh.com content recommendations and most active post list on the sidebar.
