The Department of bank personnel selection (IBPS) conducts regular online written exam on Dec. 20, 21 and 27 for recruitment to clerical positions. Today is the last day of exam December 14, 2014 was the first day of the exam.
Admit cards are available online and can be downloaded from IBPS website. Call letter alongwith Photo identity proof in original and a copy is a mandatory exam.
Questions will be objective in nature and candidates must begin the examination as soon as START signal appears. IBPS online exam will be conducted in the following pattern:
A login window appears to the candidate. The candidate has to login with their Userid and password which is provided on the call Letter.After login, candidate profile (name, roll number and photograph etc.) appears and candidate must confirm the same by clicking "Confirm" .
Candidates should read the instructions carefully and indicate that he has done it by '' (click) in the box at the bottom of the screen, after which the "l am ready to start" is enabled.
After clicking on the button "I am ready to start" actual test will begin time. There are 200 questions each question is followed by five options / alternatives. Total marks for the test is 200.
The questions except in English will be available in Hindi and English. To view a specific question in other languages, candidate Click the "Show" drop down box and select the desired language.
Just one question displayed simultaneously.
To answer your questions, the candidate has to "mouse click" option you think is appropriate / correct. The option has been clicked highlighted and treated as the answer given by the candidate for the question.
After choosing an answer to a question, click the candidate on the "Save & Next" save his answer and proceed to the next question. Note: that without clicking on the 'Save & next' button answer selected for a question will not be saved.
In case a candidate does not want to try the question when he should not click on the possibility of that question. Candidates can choose to remove their answers to a specific question by clicking on the button 'Clear answers' given against each question.
A candidate wants to skip a particular question and return to it later before sending their test or a candidate Click '(choose) answer to a specific question but seeing it later, he / she can record where the question sheets provided. In such cases, the candidate can also click on the 'MARK FOR Review & next'. Reply has been chosen for a particular question that is marked as "MARK FOR Review & next", the answer will mark taken final evaluation.
The question number of trials and unattempted questions also appear to the right of the screen. A candidate can then click on any question numbers to view the issue, to try to revise their answers to the question.
Numeric question appears in a specific color depending on the status of the question:
1. White: Not visited: question has not been seen! attempted
2. Red: Not answered: the question is seen but not answered
3. Green: Black: question is answered
4. violet: Tagged: questions are marked for review later
Candidates are not allowed to send or leave the examination center before the test time ie 120 minutes. Examination maximum 200 marks.
