Applications are invited by the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech) program offered at various departments increased 2015-16.
Criteria for ISM, Dhanbad:
About recording M.Tech programs, applicants under all categories must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent from institutes recognized by UGC / AICTE or a master's degree in science.
Candidates for admission to M.Tech program institute should have:
At least 55% or CGPA / CPI 5.5 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in qualifying degree for UR / OBC candidates.
Minimum 50% or CGPA / CPI 5.0 in 10-point scale (without rounding off) in qualifying degree for SC / ST candidates.
The candidate must be under 30 years (35 years for women, PC, SC, ST & OBC).
How to apply for ISM, Dhanbad:
Candidates can apply online.
The application fee for M.Tech program is Rs. 2000 / - for UR / OBC candidates and Rs.1000 / - SC / ST / PC candidates.
The registration fee is to be paid by online payment gateway only.
A printed copy of the application form must reach the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad-826004. The envelope with the application form and other required documents should be superscribed with "application for admission in M.Tech-2015".
Selection procedure for ISM, Dhanbad:
Admission to various M.Tech programs for GATE candidates will be done through counseling based on their points GATE.
Non-GATE or GATE qualified not and sponsored candidates must qualify ISM entrance exam (ISM EE) conducted by ISM various centers across the country.
Last date of online application: Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Last date for receipt of completed application at ISM: Tuesday, April 07, 2015.
The issue of call letters for written test / counseling letter for GATE candidates: Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Written test for ISM EE: Sunday, May 10, 2015.
Counseling / recording GATE candidates: Friday, May 15, 2015 andSaturday, May 16, 2015.
Statement on the results of written test: Sunday, June 7, 2015.
