Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) profit increased in 2015 has launched today ie March 12 at the official website. Examination was conducted on January 31, the result will be declared by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
GATE 2015 points calculated using the formula:
GATE score = Sq + (St - Sq) * (M-Mq) / (Mt Mq)
In the above formulas
M: markers by candidate (actual marks for single session papers) and normalized marks for more documents
MQ: is qualifying marks for general category candidate in paper
MT: is the average of the marks on the top 0.1 percent or top 10 (which is bigger) of candidates who appeared in the newspaper (by several newspapers including all sessions)
Ti: 350 points awarded Mq
St 900 points awarded Mt
After the declaration of results, GATE scorecards downloader of all SC / ST / PWD candidates is greater than or equal qualifying mark of SC / ST / PWD candidates in their respective articles and all other candidates that are greater than or equal qualifying mark OBC (NCL) candidates in their respective articles. There are no provisions for the issuance of paper copies GATE scorecards.
GATE 2015 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.
