examination results unisa

I started studying Spanish years for various reasons, but mainly to help achieve my dream of traveling through Latin America one day. I started taking private lessons, but soon became frustrated with the slow pace. So I decided to watch the official program of the Spanish at the University of South Africa. In my QU'UNISA is the largest University World correspondence, with over 150,000 students, examination centers in the world and diplomas recognized internationally. Looking through the list of courses offered, I decided, heck, why not just sign up for a real magnitude? Then I changed jobs for a startup, which absorbed much of my energy and time I just do not have time left to study in the evenings and on weekends anymore. In addition, I moved to the charming village of Scarborough outside of Cape Town, with a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean in front of me, and mountain walks behind me. So for a few years I did not look at all that I learned to paddle boarding and skiing.

There are 4 years old, we moved to Ireland. Elizabeth had started a Bachelor in Computer Science, and I counted, it would be appropriate to resurrect my unfinished degree. I needed to finish third year Spanish, consists of 5 documents:

Spanish translation SPS301H
Spanish SPS302J oral communication
SPS303K Spanish for professional purposes
SPS304L encounter with literature and Latin American culture
SPS305M reading and analysis of literary texts in Spanish
I also had the second major plus a least 2 more courses. Having psychology and philosophy, I might just have to board one of them to finish my degree. Instead, since I have been interested in environmental issues and want to get familiar with GIS, I chose to geography.

Now to compare levels of difficulty between the Spanish and geography: I finished my 1st, 2nd and 3rd year Geography papers in less time that it took me only the third year Spanish complete!

I spent 4 on 5 Spanish papers. Ironically, the book that interests me most, meetings with the Spanish-American culture and literature, is the only one I still do not. I started this whole degree based on my desire to travel and discover Latin America, but I can not even pass this exam. Some of the other documents have been much more difficult than this, especially ones translation and literary analysis.

This is a very interesting document that covers the history and culture of Latin America since the ancient civilizations Maya, Aztec and Inca through the Spanish conquest, slavery, wars of independence of modern politics .dropoff window The prescribed documentation consists of the books "El coronel no tiene quien the escribe" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and "La muerte y la Doncella" by Ariel Dorfman. All together a fairly significant amount of work that can be carefully examined.

However, the final document contains only 3 questions, typically as:

"Violence and repression are central themes in the novel by Marquez. Discuss."

Again this short question account for 40% of the total score!

Compared to any paper math that is well designed to test the extent of your knowledge and assess your thinking skills in an objective, it is a complete joke.

Anyway, I asked for the paper to be re-scored. I hope I get the small additional percentage, I need to pass this exam ... otherwise I will have to persist until I finally pass.
