Fairfield, Conn., June 20, 2013 (GLOBE NewsWire)-Competitive Technologies Inc.. (OTCQX: CTTC) held its annual meeting of shareholders earlier today at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center in Norwalk, Connecticut, Chairman of the CTTC, Peter Brennan, held. Business meeting and President and Chief Executive Officer Charles O'Connell, presented an overview of the company's plans.
In today's presentation, Mr. O'connell discussed plans to expand the clinical use of medical device Calmare as the basis to transform the company into a net games medical device company. In addition, the company plans to monetize the value of other key technologies, including wound care, bone biomaterial and sexual dysfunction for both men and women, as it was announced yesterday (to view this release, link here: HTTP ://. competitivetech. CTTC thanks the many shareholders who returned their proxies, as well as those who attended the meeting in person. More than 12.6 million, or about 80 percent of this year's meeting was presented. At the meeting the shareholders re-elected the company's Board of Directors, five of the CTTC, including Mr. Brennan and Mr. O'Connell, and Rustin Howard, Robert g. Musa, and Stanley c. Yarbro. Shareholders also ratified the appointment of Mayer Hoffman McCann FDD as the independent audit firm CTTC, approved at the Advisory level of executive compensation and voted to hold such executive compensation advisory vote every three years.
