CBSE board has been contacted by the parents association after months of protest against deviations committed by St John's higher Secondary School, Mandevali.
St. John's graduate school loses its grace with adamant academic decisions. Then came parents masses to raise their concerns on issues such as physical punishment, double shifts, sanitation problems, low quality teaching among others.
School, but agreed all the demands of the parents instead of double shift after days protest. Parents appeal that irregular shift causes children ill health and disadvantages in reaching home safely.
First shift starts at 7:15 because that students must jump breakfast that raises health concerns. Odd times of the second shift does not working parents to pick their children from school to further creates inconvenience for both students and parents.
In one of the complaints argue parents that the school is thriving hard to stop parents come in unison to raise concerns.
As quoted in Indian Express, a parent said, "earlier, it was the rule for the school not to approach the management of the group, so now we have formed an association of 160 members. We called them meet but management sent out messages via courier encourage parents not to participate in these meetings and that their children's future may be affected.
Parents finally came to a conclusion that protest in the school campus will bear no fruit so they moved to the CBSE branch in Chennai. Representatives of CBSE has sent the petition and promised to look into the matter. The branch will contact Delhi authorities for future investigations.
