Calicut University special examinations a boon for students
Kozhikode: Offering a last chance to hundreds of students who failed to pass or score sufficient marks in their postgraduate examinations are organised in the last two decades, University of Calicut decided to organise extra special examination and improvement of students who registered for PG courses since 1990.
The examinations will be carried out according to the old curriculum. A decision on this was taken at Calicut University, Adalat, to solve problems faced by students and alumni from Tagore Niketan.
The move will help many students who do not have to obtain the mark of 55%, which is the minimum eligibility for various national exams and the State-level eligibility, including the national eligibility test (NET) required for appointments of teachers.
