As part of the four-year degree program (FYUP) of DU, introduced the course grade of Technology (B.Tech). The introduction of this year drew flak when the UGC directive not followed DU take the necessary approval from AICTE. DU needs to ensure that schools have students enrolled under the program FYUP have the approval of the Commission and Council of India for all technical education (AICTE).
25 DU colleges have enrolled approximately 6,000 students under the program 4 years including computers, electronics, food technology, electronic instrumentation and polymer science. The degree to be awarded to engineers could not have any meaning if India AICTE approved in December.
February 20 is the last date to apply for approval of AICTE.
What is the approval of AICTE?
The AICTE mandate is important and necessary for a graduate course in applied technology.
There have been several schools in the past that have been closed due to invalid or no approval of AICTE. In order to protect the life and career of many bright young minds.
