BM Birla College of Nursing was established in year 2003 and it is affiliated West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The college is accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The college offers good infrastructure facilities, such as libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, Extra curricular Activities, modern equipment and facilities for the computer. BM Birla College of Nursing has professionally trained and highly qualified faculty. The college offers teaching and Post Course in B Sc Nursing. It also offers post graduate courses in M Sc nursing.
B Sc Nursing
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board science stream with physics, chemistry, biology, English and vernacular in a chance and with minimum 50% aggregate marks are eligible. In addition, candidates be aged between 17 years 28 years that on or before 31 m December year of admission.
Admission: Admission is based on the candidate's performance in JENPARH, conducted by West Bengal joint entrance examination Board.
B Sc Nursing (Post Basic)
Eligibility: Candidates with general nursing & midwifery (GNM) course of three and a half years' duration and with one year clinical experience is justified.
Admission: Candidates are selected as their scores in the qualifying examination.
M Sc (Nursing)
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed B. Sc Nursing degree from a recognized university with a minimum amount of 60% in a shot are eligible.
Admission: Scores of entrance test and interview conducted by the institution considered for admission.
